• Rachel JohncockSteve has been patching me up and looking after me for the last 3 years. This year especially he has had his work cut out as in terms of injury I have not had a good year. Without Steve I would not be where I am today, that is ranked number 2 in the UK for the under 15 girls 200m, a new Celtic record holder and all time Welsh record holder breaking a 25 year old 200m record in 24.82 seconds....... • Alex PendletonI was asked to write a few lines about my recent visit to your clinic, I injured my hamstring & hip while playing squash.I rang the clinic & managed to get an appointment the next day. After several treatments I was able to start light training & was back playing a short time after. Steve has now devised a program for me to help prevent further injury. .
    • Terry JonesJust to say that the service provided from the start to present is second to none, from your booking-in system, medical advice, treatment and of course the "no pain, no gain" exercises you professionally advised me to do.
And a very special thanks for your support you gave Maria and I in pointing us in the right direction in aiding our precious daughter to a much more comfortable way to walking..Diolch yn fawr iawn.MENYNS.
      • Peter CaterallIn October 2011 I was training for a white water kayak expedition to Kenya when I injured my rotator cuff, this left me unable to prepare for the trip and unable to work as a kayak coach. I had been treated by Steve for other injuries so booked an appointment. Steve put me on a 6 week plan of 3 treatments per week to get me ready for the expedition; each session was followed with tips on how I can assist the treatment at home. I was able to go to Kenya and complete 6 first descents of the rivers on Mount Kenya. The injury is still giving me some pain from time to time but I know what exercises I need to be doing to get it back to full strength. Steve and his team are the first people I would go to myself and the first people I recommend to others. Thanks
      • Mary Keenan I was recommended to Steve Willis by my doctor as I had a severe Trendellenberg gait due to muscle wastage after a hip replacement operation.  I was walking with a pronounced limp and the imbalance also caused back pain. >
Steve devised a programme of exercises to strengthen my leg and encouraged me as I slowly improved.  I am now walking normally and the back pain has gone. I would recommend the clinic unreservedly.

When our cars need attention we think nothing of booking them into a garage and paying the bill. However, when our body, an infinitely more complicated engine misfires, we often shrug and hope it fixes itself. In my opinion a visit to Steve, The Physio on a regular basis keeps my ageing body mobile enough to continue active sport.

As an extreme sportsman I need my body to function at its best. Steve understands these needs and has kept me going through a whole range of self inflicted injuries brought about by the sports I pursue. He has an incredible knowledge of the body and is able to quickly diagnose and treat all kinds of injuries.

Perhaps more importantly, he also knows when to refer and who best to refer to. When I seriously damaged my shoulder and it failed to respond to treatment he knew the Man for the job. As it turned out he was one of the few consultants who had the ability to repair the damage I had done. When I headed off to Bhutan on my first river trip since my accident, Steve was an integral part of the team that put me back together.

Thanks.
